CALIBAN Begin Recording New Album

German metalcore band CALIBAN have entered Principal Studios near Münster, Germany to begin recording their fifth full-length album, entitled "The Undying Darkness". The follow-up to 2004's "The Opposite from Within" is once again being produced by Anders Fridén (IN FLAMES frontman),with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ARCH ENEMY) set to handle the mixing duties. An early 2006 release via Roadrunner Records (Europe) and Abacus Recordings (U.S.) is expected.

CALIBAN supported MACHINE HEAD for the duration of their last European headlining tour, which took place in late 2004. Also appearing on the bill were GOD FORBID.
